Historic Home Addition and Remodel
Denver City Park South
1908 + 2024
Rather than overwrite the historic home’s character, our design strategy focused on clarity, restraint, and respect for the original architecture.
A new primary suite was created in the previously unfinished attic through the addition of carefully scaled dormers. The main level was reconfigured to accommodate a new kitchen, social gathering spaces, and a new stair linking all levels.
New architectural interventions are deliberately quiet - designed to frame and elevate the home’s original details, materials, and proportions, allowing its historic character to breathe and endure.
